Q: Why can't I see anything on the video screen?
A: Make sure the channel setting on the monitor, A, B, C or D, matches the channel setting on the camera.
Q: Why is my video screen black and white?
A: The Night Vision switch on the Camera is turned on. To return to color mode turn the Night Vision switch to OFF.
Q: Why does the video screen keep cutting on and off?
A: Make sure the camera Voice Activation dial is set to OFF. When this dial is set to ON the camera will shut down when the room is completely quiet. This feature is designed to extend the battery life when the camera is operating in battery mode.
Q: How can I improve the video and audio reception quality?
A: Adjust the directional antenna on the camera until the reception improves.
Q: When using the camera and monitor with batteries, how do I get longer battery life?
A: Turn on Voice Activation on the camera. The camera will power up only when your baby makes noise or cries thereby extending the camera battery life. On the monitor, turn off the LCD screen when you are not actually viewing the monitor.
Q: Can I use the A/C adapter while I have alkaline batteries in the camera or monitor?
A: No. Plugging in an A/C adapter while alkaline batteries are in the camera or monitor can cause severe damage that is not covered under the Product Warranty. Use the A/C adapter ONLY when you either have rechargeable batteries in the camera/monitor or when there are no batteries in the camera/monitor.
